Country house Panorama with pool

Here I can present a completely renovated farmhouse with an area of 270 m² and swimming pool, surrounded by about 5 hectares of hilly, completely fenced grounds, mainly planted with olive trees (about 150 trees that have been yielding for several years). The house is situated in a secluded location on a beautiful hill, while the terrain below consists of extensive terraces and flat fields up to the tree line. The property has been restored with high quality materials and very tastefully furnished. The furnishings can be negotiated depending on the buyer’s interests.

The living space is about 150 m² on the first floor and 120 m² on the upper floor, which has a separate entrance and where we accommodate tourists in the spring/summer season and rent out the apartment on a weekly basis.

The first floor, on the other hand, consists of: a large living room with vaulted ceiling (former stable) with fireplace, a kitchen/dining room with brick kitchen, 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1 study. An internal staircase built during the renovation makes it possible to connect the two floors by simply removing the wooden platform that currently separates them.

The upper floor consists of: a large living area with fireplace and kitchen/dining area, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, with ceilings made of chestnut beams and rafters and Tuscan tiles as well as terracotta floors. The upper floor is rented to tourists for an average of about 15 weeks from May to September through a very good local agency. This can be extended.

The swimming pool (12 x 6 m) is located on a hill in front of the house, built to a high standard with a reinforced concrete construction (French manufacturer Desjoyeaux). From the hill and the pool you have a wonderful panoramic view. On one side you can see the Monti Pisani and the Garfagnana and on the other the hills of Volterra.

Outside the house there is a barbecue, a covered area with a fridge, hob, sink, washing machine and a fully functional brick wood-burning oven. On the other side there is another covered area built on the brick pillars of a former barn from this period, which had fallen into disrepair.

The nearest airport is of course that of Pisa, or alternatively that of Florence.

The nearest coast is that of Pisa (Marina di Pisa, Tirrenia, Calambrone), otherwise the most beautiful beaches are of course south of Livorno in Castiglioncello, Marina di Castagneto, San Vincenzo, Baratti etc..
