The house extends over two floors with a surrounding plot of 30,000 m². It is a recent construction, built with excellent building materials.

Description of the house

When you come through the beautiful door from the 20 m² terrace, which is decorated with a hand-painted picture by Hundertwasser, you find yourself in a wonderful room. The large glass window offers a fascinating view of the magnificent landscape. It’s simply fantastic and you can’t get enough of it, whether during the day or at sunset every evening. It’s as if you had a large living painting by Botticelli in your home!
Here you are in the spacious open space of the kitchen and living room, which are decorated in beautiful colors. This is also where the wood-burning stove is located, which is connected to the radiators and provides cozy warmth. Propane gas can also be used for heating. The house retains heat very well.
On the second floor, accessible via a spiral staircase, there is a bedroom, a bathroom and plenty of storage space in the sloping roof. On the first floor there is also a bedroom with bathroom, two small study rooms and a further bedroom. There is currently a single bed there. However, there would also be space for a double bed.

The 30 cm thick walls and roof were insulated with organic cork. The floor on the first floor is made of stone tiles, the floor on the second floor is made of wood.
The house is connected to the municipal aqueduct. ADSL is available, as is an alarm system.

Outbuildings, outdoor facilities and surroundings

The courtyard also has a 36 m² garage that can be used as a home. Electricity and water would still have to be installed there and the extension work carried out. The main house is built of rock, which provides additional security. There is a stable in need of restoration and a workshop where you can work.

There are 85 olive trees and a small chestnut forest with 50 chestnut trees on the property, which is gently undulating but also partly sloping, as it is situated at an altitude of around 450 meters on a panoramic hill. The area is famous for its chestnuts. The property is partially fenced or has a natural fence through the bushes. It is entered through an automatic gate lined with cypress trees and ends at a small stream. There is also a small fenced vegetable garden and a tool shed. The access road is asphalted for the first stretch and then turns into a forest path after 800 m, which is quite easy to drive on. There is a bar and restaurant in the village. There is also an agriturismo with a very good restaurant and pool.

Right next door, 100 m as the crow flies, there is also an agriturismo. From there you can hear children from time to time. A few nights a year they play for weddings. Otherwise, you can enjoy pure relaxation and tranquillity here!
