Lucca (approx. 45 minutes by car): Lucca, a medieval city with impressive city walls, offers a unique ambience and is renowned for its art, architecture and gastronomy.

Public transport: Pontedera-Casciana Terme train station is 18 km away. From there, there are regular trains to Pisa and Florence, with a journey time of around 45 minutes to Florence. There are also good bus connections, such as line 440, which links Casciana Terme with Pontedera and other towns in the region.
