Every year, Livorno celebrates ‘Effetto Venezia’, and there’s a good reason for that. Along its many canals, you can feel (almost) as if you were in Venice. Except that everything is a bit bigger. Livorno is a port city with a special charm. Everything is a bit more grandiose and perhaps a bit rougher around the edges. It’s unique and you have to love it, but it certainly is something special.
