Rustico with water basin in a secluded location near Pisa

The rustico was built around 1900 or a little earlier. Its natural stone walls are 40 cm thick. In 1990, the Tuscan country house was extensively renovated and connected to the electricity grid.
The exterior floor area is 12 x 6 m plus an extension of 20 m² built in 2008.

The house is in good technical condition and well maintained. It has an electric radiant heater in the bathroom and wood-burning stoves in all rooms. There is also a fireplace room and a wonderful, huge bread oven in the kitchen.
The walnut beams, which are over a hundred years old, and the terracotta ceilings have been invisibly stabilized. The roof was cemented, sealed with roofing felt and re-roofed with tiles.

It is situated in a secluded location on a hill, surrounded by cypresses, palm trees and olive trees. The view from every window is enchanting and extends as far as Pisa and the sea. The 1.2 km long access road is rustic, but is overhauled every spring. This country house has a high recreational value. Ideal for city dwellers who want to switch off.
The rustico has two of its own wells with top-quality drinking water.
A digital alarm system is connected to the village and the control center in Florence.

The grounds of the country house

Outside there is a brick-built table tennis table made of Carrara marble. There is also an outdoor barbecue, a large parking lot and a beautifully landscaped garden. In the upper area there is a water basin (diameter 4.20 m, depth 1.25 m) which is fenced in and a children’s swing.

The driveway is made of solidly reinforced brick paving, which secures the 1.5 ha property along the natural road with a solid fence. Part of the property consists of woodland. There are also fruit trees, laurel, palms, pines, cypresses and other trees such as gingko.

In the thermal spa town of Casciana Terme you will find everything you need for everyday use. There is a DIY store outside the village and an agrario that has almost everything. There is a pizzeria in the village where you can eat cheaply and well.
